14th: Times Square Kiss-in
Celebrate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. Join couples of all ages and all walks of life to
commemorate the original 1945 kiss. 15th: Madison Avenue Summer Fair
Take a stroll through a classic street fair overflowing with vendors and local artists. Madison Avenue from
42nd - 57th Street.
29th: Big Apple Performing Arts Festival
Celebrate the arts during this fun-filled “carnival” on Broadway. Enjoy a full schedule of performances
plus hundreds of art, craft, antique, jewelry and merchandise exhibitors. Broadway from 47th - 57th Street.

SEPTEMBER 2010
August 30th – September 12th: U.S. Open
Tennis at its finest hits the courts of Arthur Ashe Stadium this month.

5th: Brazilian Day Festival

6th: Labor Day (Public Holiday)
Celebrate the American worker and the end of summer with this parade along New York's Fifth Avenue.

Top designers feature their latest Spring/Summer collections during this highly anticipated week of fashion
